My Name is Sophia
I am an illustrator specializing in food illustrations for editorial, cookbook, and packaging design. I like to throw a bit of whimsy into my work as well by using multiple different types of materials like embroidery, felt and vibrant digital illustration.
My work is heavily inspired by bold, retro and pastel colors. I have a special appreciation for retro cuisine - especially those that jiggle.
Based in Massachusetts, I share my studio with my dog, Dobby, and my bearded dragon, Lupin. When I’m not illustrating, I can be found reading books, discovering new music and making new playlists, or enjoying an (admittedly excessive) amount of caffeine at a local cafe.
Through my work, I aim to capture the nostalgia, joy, and whimsy of food, creating illustrations that not only entice the appetite but also tell a story. Whether it’s a quirky illustration about the newest food trend or a wholesome connection to culinary traditions, my goal is to bring personality and charm to every project.
